I remember a scene in the movie "Gridlock" where Tom Roth's character was asking for directions and the man brushed him off saying he had no change. Roth's character was angered by that remark and yelled back that he has job. He also added that there're a lot of people who don't have jobs and are having difficulty getting one. It reminds me that I am fortunate that I am working cause a lot of people aren't. That realization reminds me of the song "Working For A Living" by Huey Lewis And The News.
Life is so hard these days as all the good jobs are taken and your lucky if you can land one no matter how crappy it is. It's not just the money that you make but it also tells people that you are doing something with your life. There are times when what you make is not enough and that's where you go out of the box by doing something's on the side to make ends meet. Just be sure it's legal or else.
These days you do what you can at work as well any opportunity that comes by. If a better jobs comes by and you're hired then take it. Till then just hang in there and do what you can. Sometimes it's cool and sometimes it's aint. Just be grateful you still got a job.
