Reminds Me Of My Early Days In The Real World: Dyslexic Heart By Paul Westerberg

I really am getting so old these days. The fact that the white hairs on my beard are getting more prominent is a sad fact of that. Apart from faciamil hair, even sideburns are starting to show some strands of white. I'm starting to long for the early years after I graduated from college when I had enough money for weekend gimmicks and life was just starting. Longing for those days reminds me of the song "Dyslexic Heart" by Paul Westerberg.

This was part of the soundtrack from the movie "Singles" which depicted the lives and loves of young adults who are just about to make their way into the real world. You were excited and free to try new things on your own and being single, you'd to check to spots with your pals and party hard all night. The difference was that you were doing it on your own steam without having to ask from your parents since you were making your own money. Since you were already old enough, there were no more restrictions on what you wanted to do and where you wanted to go. It was pure freedom at its best.

These days, you go out after you make sure that all the business is settled. There are now more responsibilities to take care of and very little time for leisure. Priorities come before gimmicks since you have to be careful how to budget what you have. Oh well, at least we all had a taste of the good times. We could re-live but we're now getting older.
