A Plea For Extending The Weekend: One More Saturday Night By The Grateful Dead

Whether you're young or old, you can't seem to get enough of the weekends, for the kids and young adults, sometimes the weekend partying is just too short. For adults who are worn out at the end of the week, there just isn't enough time to re-charge and just when they are about to unwind, it's back to the grind. Times like that, both parties probably wish for an extension just to get the most of out the weekends or even the holidays. The song "One More Saturday Night" comes to mind when we wish for a little more off-time.

It's getting brutal out there where every penny you make rides on every hour or even every minute of work you put in. When you're a kid, you want to go out and visit every place that you can and even party as much as you can. When you're an adult you're hoping not to wake up at 6:00 in the morning or for a few catnaps in the hopes of feeling refreshed before going back to work. Sadly for both the young and old, there's not enough time. Before you know it, the weekend's over and you're lucky if you keep your eyes open on the first day of work.

These days, it's all about time management and priorities even on the weekend. The ones that matter most comes first. For this reason, I always ask in advance what's the weekend plan to find out if I'm going to gets some rest or get even more worn out. If I don't get any down time , those are the breaks and just comfort yourself with the fact that something got done. Although sometimes, when I'm tired, I really wish for one more Saturday night. I could sure use it and so can a lot of people.
