The Need To Face Up: Live To Tell By Madonna

None of us are perfect and many times in our lives, we sometimes make mistakes. Some of those mistakes can sometimes be too much to bear due, especially when innocent people are hurt. Due to fear. many of us have difficulty confessing, let alone facing up to the consequences of our actions. Nevertheless, mistakes like that can never be concealed or forgotten and if we don't do anything about it, it will haunt us for the rest of our lives. That's one lesson that I've learned from the song "Live To Tell" by Madonna.

This song is a soundtrack from the movie "At Close Range" starring Sean Penn and Christopher Walken. If there's anything that I've learned from this song is when you do something wrong, correct as soon as possible. I'm no saint, but I've learned that even the smallest mistakes can have disastrous results in the long run. Running and hiding it, won't help either. When you hide it or run from it, it'll catch up with you in the end. And when it does, don't be surprise if your world starts crumbling down.

The sooner you resolve things the better. Just remember not to do it again. People don't forget when you do something terribly wrong. Even when you have made amends, they will never let you forget it. You'll just have to live and learn from it. Better that than have it eat you up inside and out.
