Always On A Budget: Low Budget By The Kinks

Yesterday, I blogged about how important money is in society that without, everything comes to a stop. With the current state of the economy, a lot of people have had to make a lot of drastic changes just to make ends meet. Companies are now closing and a lot of good people are getting laid off. It really isn't fair to those who have worked so hard only to have their legs cut from beneath them. With all the cutbacks people have to make today, it reminds me of the song "Low Budget" by The Kinks.

A lot of people on Youtube agree that this song is so relevant today with all the economic decline that we see all around us. Heck, even before the meltdown, the situation around here was already bad. First the gas, then the water as well as the price of all basic commodities where going up faster than a space shuttle headed for the moon. If the people say that our country hasn't been affected by the global economic crisis, that's because we were already having our own crisis already. If the economic has hit, we wouldn't notice it because we already have our hands full with local economic woes.

These days, people are struggling to cope up with the hard times. We have no choice but we do what we can and bad part is that the market is flooded with cheap and dangerous products that people buy because they can't afford anything else. Be that as it may, people still find ways to ride these difficult times out. They do so because they want something better in life and they will do all that they can to make it so. I hope things shape up a bit because I'm tired of living in a low budget land.
