When you were younger, time was a luxury you had in abundance. You hanged out with your friends and did all the things that you want without a care in the world. All the while you're doing that, you think it will last forever. When time runs out and opportunities are lost, it becomes a different story. That's a hard lesson that we all learn the song "Too Much Time On My Hands" by Styx reminds me of that lesson.
While you still have the time, plan carefully what path in life you wish to take. Take advantage of whatever time that you to think, plan and choose wisely. I'll tell you some choices that you make can stick with you for life. What's worse if it's the wrong, you'll be spending a large part of your life undoing a very bad mistake. If you're lucky to have done that, time has passed you by and with all the opportunities that could have been yours.
It's that time has passed you over and you find yourself with very little opportunities to improve your life. When that happens, you make do with what's left. It's all up to you if you're really determined to get things done. My advice for the young is to make the most of your time and choose wisely while you still can. One day, time will pass you by as well.
