When Love Happens: Love Comes Walking In By Van Halen

One of the things that gave me a big surprise in 1985 was the fact that Van Halen suddenly changed lead singers. David Lee Roth was out and taking his place was Sammy Hagar who already had a successful solo career of his own. Hagar took the band to a new level and I couldn't be happier. One song that I liked from them was song "Love Comes Walking In".

Like last year, don't be surprise if a lot of these entries will have the "L" word for this month. Anyway, nobody sings hard rock songs the way the red rocker and and with this band they make a good combination. It always happen when someone makes contact with you. Like what Renee Zellweger said in "Jerry Maguire" when she said "You Had Me At Hello", it always starts with contact. From there, your whole world starts turning upside down. Pretty soon that person starts to grow on you and you think of nothing else.

You can't explain it but it sure feels good whenever that person walks in and it gets better when the feeling's mutual. When that happens, then you know it's the real thing. It's crazy how love changes you, but if it's worth it, go for it. At that point, nothing else matters. Forrest Gump said it best because even though he wasn't smart, he knew what love is.
