About Not Wanting To Let People Down And Being Let Down: Never Let Me Down Again By Depeche Mode

Among the other things that I stress on this blog is about fulfilling your duties to others.  When you say that you'll do this you better deliver because if not, they won't trust you anymore. That's why when I say that I'll do it, I'll do it even if it's hard.  Sadly when I'm the one relying on the help of others, it always comes up short.  That's been happening a lot lately.  When it comes to not letting others down but being let down by others, the song "Never Let Me Down Again" by Depeche Mode comes to mind.

As much as possible I mind my own business but life always seems to throw some kind of baggage in my arms. For some reason whether I like it or not, I'm in it for the long haul so I do what I can to resolve it.  I wish the same can be said when I'm in need.  Day by day, I look for the answers but find none.  Some promise me help and I wind with nada.

Every time that happens, it's like a slap to the face.  I know you have to work hard but can be so frustrating when the tables are turned.  As if you fulfilled your part of the bargain but wind up getting screwed.  That's a bitter pill to swallow.  That's even though it's hard I try to do things on my own because I hate being let down by big promises that offer nothing in the end.

When The Night's Your Friend: Waiting For The Night By Depeche Mode

Every time I thought the day would be good, I hear bad news that makes it all bad.  When that happens, I really feel a tightening in chest and I lose my appetite after hearing the news. The only thing that will bring me comfort is when night finally comes.  That way  I can get some shelter from the storm.  That's I'm listening to the song "Waiting For The Night" by Depeche Mode.

Once everything is said and done, I finally retire to my room.  I lay on my bed and try to get some sleep.  I makes sure I loosen up in the hopes that when I close my eyes everything goes away.  I let myself get lost in the drowsiness and take comfort as I drift into lala land.  I stay that way for a good eight to nine hours.  Just enough time to make sure that I am rested enough for the demands of the day.

True everything is closed when the night comes.  All there is darkness and silence when it comes.  Still it offers shelter and solace when the day has not gone well. It brings closure to a really bad day.  Best of all as the night ends, a new day is born and with new hopes and new dreams.  In times like that, I can really say that the night can be one's friend.

Silence Here=Everything's Fine: Enjoy The Silence By Depeche Mode

A good day for me is when nothing's happening from morning to night. That may sound boring to some of you but when you get older and responsibilities start piling up, a moment of quiet, let alone a quite day is rare luxury. When things get so chaotic, it really turns your world upside down. You get stressed out and when there's more to come, you really wish for that quiet day because when nothing's happening then everything is cool. Enjoying a nice quiet day reminds of the song "Enjoy The Silence" by Depeche Mode.

When it's quiet around here, that means there's no trouble and everything's cool. You get to relax and your heart beat and blood pressure is stable since there's no stress. You get to organize your thoughts and be more focus since there's no rumble in jungle going on. Most important of all, your at peace with your environment. No need for artificial enhancements since everything's in order and there are no hassles. With a relaxing and serene atmosphere, you don't have to ask for anything more.

When you're in the real world, you don't have time for a lot of things and quiet moments are hard to find. Even when you go to bed at the end of the day, your minds in chaos about the things you need to do. Then there's everyday problems that everybody faces in the real world and it's becoming a really hard world to live in where you struggle to get by. That's why for me, there's nothing like a nice quiet day. I enjoy the silence for as long as I can for you'll never know when you'll have another.

Just Try To Get Along: People Are People By Depeche Mode

One of the first things that you have to do when you're in a new environment is getting along with new people. No two people are the same. Some have their virtues as well as their faults. When the group is new, you have to get to know them well for things to go smoothly. Trying to get along with people reminds me of the song "People Are People" by Depeche Mode.

Whenever I'm with a new group of people, I'll be the first to extend my hand. As much as possible, I do my best to get along with others because I am now apart of the group. I'll be working with them so I want to form a bond with them as soon as possible. To do this, I try to find what it is that we have in common and start off from there. That way, we can better understand each other.

Nobody's perfect and that's the first thing that I remember when I'm with someone new. I don't get in other people's way and I respect their space. I only ask that they do the same for me in return. The sooner we understand each other, the better. People are people so accept them for who they are.

Back Then People Couldn't Get Enough Of This Song: Just Can't Get Enough By Depeche Mode

I remember when New Wave first hit the radio when I was in high school. With its continuous barrage of keyboards and computer effects, all my classmates were hooked on this genre. I was listening to old school music back then, so to say that I wasn't a fan of this type of music was an understatement. What made me less of a fan was the outrageous hairstyles and the semi-punk/leather outfits they use to wear which really made me wary. Still, it was one of the types of music that ruled the 80's and eventually will find its way to this blog. One song that I remember was always on the radio was "Just Can't Get Enough" by Depeche Mode.

The title clearly represents the song because I kept hearing wherever I go. Whether it was the radio or music videos, this song always kept popping up. There was no escaping it since it was the trend. To make matters worse was the weird dances that people usually make when listening to it. Even local commercials used the song to promote their products. I thought it would go on forever.

Then one day, they disappeared. New Wave and Techno was replaced with Grunge and Alternative Music. They came back with a hit from the early 90's and later again in the early 2,000's. With the popularity of the 80's revival now in style, I wouldn't be surprised to hear this song again. I guess even now people just can't seem to get enough of this song.
