Savoring The Moment While It's Still There: I Know I'll Never Love This Way Again By Dionne Warrick

Well this is it. The last day of February has come and you what that means? Well, it's the last chance for any hopeless romantic there to find their significant other. For who were successful, there's no doubt that they'll make the most of it, finding such a love doesn't come easy. To close off the month of hearts, I think a good song would be Dionne Warwick's "I Know I'll Never Love This Way Again".

For those who were lucky to find someone, I wouldn't be surprise if they are in cloud 9 right now. They savor every moment as best as they can and do all that they want to do. They do this because they don't how long this is going to last. They don't want to waste a single moment cause chances like these are given to a chosen few.

To those who have found success, don't take what you have gained for granted. Very few people find such a treasure that others would die for. Even though February will be over tomorrow, romance will always be in the air. For those, who haven't found their soul mate, you'll find them if you're determined enough cause even though February is over, romance will always be in the air.

Type of Romantic Song That I'd Play On A Classy Date: Autumn of Our Love By Spyro Gyra

Even though the month of hearts is now about to end, there won't be shortage of ballads and love songs on the airwaves. Still, the songs these days does not catch my ear the way it did in the past. There is one song that I would like to play if I ever go out with that ideal someone to some place special. It's a shame I don't hear it anymore. That song is "Autumn Of Our Love by Spyro Gyra.

I wonder why nobody listens to jazz anymore. When it comes to romance, this song sure delivers. I would probably play this with a really cool girl. It has to be in a very classy place and I'd probably be wearing a suit while drinking fine wine. Heck, if I'm motivated enough, I'd get up and have a nice slow dance to this song. That's just how suave and romantic this tune can be.

With what I'm making right now, that's just wishful thinking. I still have work on a lot of things before I can even dream of having something like that. Well, I guess there's still a little bit of the romantic inside me. With songs like this, it can sure put that spark back in your romantic bone. Too bad, it seldom gets played nowadays.

Remembering Someone Special/Lack Of Closure: Letters To Elise By The Cure

As February is now at its last days,, I sometimes remember a lot of lost loves that could have been and the one in particular that I keep remembering concerns my first post. Whenever the summer is fast approaching, memories of her start haunting me. I guess it's because the last time I saw was my college graduation where I watched her from a far. There were just too many things that weren't resolved and I really we had a proper parting before going our separate ways. Whenever I think about her and that lack of closure, I think of the song "Letters To Elise" by The Cure.

I guess the reason why I keep remembering her is because she really made an impression on me. Her smile always brightened up my day because she was always fun to be with. talk to and be with. That's why it hurt me when she suddenly became distant. I was wondering if I had done something wrong to upset her and I still wonder to this day. I think of her so much that she became the topic of my first post on my blog.

Well, as they say yesterday is gone and I can't keep dwelling on the past. Not a day goes by when I don't think of her and I wish things turned out differently. Alas, what's done is done and all I can do is wish her well. I do so hope that she is happy out there even if she's with someone else. Still, if only we had some closure to really close this chapter that continues to haunt me to this day.

When You Start Missing Someone: Miss You In A Heart Beat By Def Leppard

What did they about missing someone that makes your heart start longing? One thing's for sure and when someone isn't there and start thinking about that person, that one step towards getting hooked. You start feeling that something's missing and for some reason you're feeling empty. I guess that's sign that you're starting to develop feelings towards that missing person. That feeling of missing someone is best summed in the song "Miss You In A HeartBeat" by Def Leppard.

You start developing feelings for someone when somewhere along the way, you start to connect with them. Later on, the mere presence of that person is more than enough to inspire you during the day. So when that person is gone, things just don't seem right. Well, one thing's for sure and that's the first step to the emotional ladder.

Have I ever missed someone? Sure I do and I wonder how they are doing now that they are gone. They have touched me in a certain way that I cannot forget them. Though I didn't bring it to the next level, they'll always have a place inside me. It's when the thought crosses my mind is when I start missing them and I do hope that they are all happy somewhere out there.

The Most Pleasant Wait: Little Darling I Want You By The Doobie Brothers

I remember the first time someone caught my fancy. I was waiting for my ride home and it was getting late. I was tired from Karate practice and the only thing I wanted was to go home, take a shower and have beer. All of a sudden, she popped out of nowhere and it seemed that she too was waiting for her ride. All of sudden, waiting for my ride home wasn't so bad after all. Remembering the high I felt with her reminded of the song "Little Darling" by The Doobie Brothers.

With nothing to do, we started talking as we waited for our respected rides to come for us. She was so cheerful and that she made me forget about my impatience of waiting for my car to arrive. The longer we talked, the more I wished to prolong the moment. Sadly all good things come to end. Her car arrived and in few minutes, so did mine. For the first time in my life, I wish I could have stayed longer.

As I got back home, I could still feel the excitement of that moment. It was the first time a had a fruitful conversation with someone and yes you can say Cupid had playful moment for me that time. Even though I am and still prefer to stay single, that day has a special place in my heart and I still think about that girl cause she helped ease the agony of waiting. It turned an annoying situation into a pleasant encounter. When you have someone to wait with you, it is the most pleasant wait you could ever have.

Determination Over Destiny: One Step Closer To You By Gavin Christopher

When you fall for someone, I wouldn't be surprised if you start spouting some cheesy line like "it was fate" or "destiny brought us together". Still, it doesn't guarantee that you got it made. If you want to seal the deal, you better take to the level even if takes one step at a time. If you're determined enough, the world will turn. That's what I believe when I hear the song, "One Step Closer To You" by Gavin Christopher.

This is another one of those great upbeat songs from the 80's. I chose this for this post because it's all about being determined not to loose what was once lost after getting a second chance. This is especially true when it comes to love. If you truly believe, you would be able to express it in deeds. It's not going to be easy but if you to by it inch by inch, then that's how it is. It'll be worth it in the end.

That's what I miss about my decade. Things were so upbeat back then. The songs inspired you to reach your goal, especially when it came to romance. There was no need for any medication cause listening to tunes like these always made you believe that you can do it. Back then, anything was possible. Step by step, your determination carries you to your destiny.

Yeah It Hurts So Bad: You Don't Love Me Anymore By Eddie Rabbit

When you fall in love, you think would last forever. Unfortunately, there are times when it doesn't. Something happens along the way and what started out great suddenly fell apart. Well, it happens to all of us and until we get it right, it's to happen again and again. Still, every time it, does when the words are spoken, it really hits us hard. When someone tells you it's over and they don't love you anymore, the song "You Don't Love Me Anymore" by Eddie Rabbit comes to mind.

When someone who was once affectionate towards you suddenly turn frigid, it can sure take you by surprise. Maybe it was something that you did or didn't do, but one thing for sure, when they don't that way anymore, you suddenly feel empty. Maybe deep inside, you appreciated that treatment but didn't how to reciprocate. It gets worse when that person has found someone else and parades to everyone. Well, if you took it for granted, then your loss.

In the end, you're all alone and feeling somewhere. Your probably need time to let that rejection out of your system. Well, time heals all wounds and if you're strong, you'll get over and start over. It happens to all of us cause it's part of life. Still, it does hurt when they don't love you anymore.

The One You Really Want: Make It With You By Bread

Not everybody is impulsive when it comes to love. Thankfully, there are those out there who in their mind and heart who it is they want to spend the rest of their lives with. Like I said all through out this month, you really have to be sure that she's the one. Cause when you two finally become, there's no need to look back anymore. For those who've found the one, Bread's "Make It With You" bests fits this post.

I may not be a romantic but I do know a good love song when I hear one. Those were the days back when love songs were really about love. Nothing fancy but simple lyrics that hit home. This song should only be played for the one and only person that you want to spend your whole life with. It's because you're a 100% sure that this is the one and no one will come between you two that makes this song so special.

That's why you should only play this song not just for anyone but for the one you are absolutely sure of. It would be a waste if you played for someone who doesn't appreciate you, let alone doesn't like you. That's how perfect this song is when it comes to expressing love. It's not just for anyone. It's for THE ONE.

Too Impulsive: Crazy Love By Poco

I have to agree with Forrest Gump when he said he knew what love is. He may appear dim-witted to a lot of people and yet he accomplished more than his detractors. A lot of people claim that they know what love is but the fact is they don't. They just get into it impulsively only to regret it in the end. When it comes to people who impulsively fall in what they think is love, the song "Crazy Love" by Poco comes to mind.

Some people fall head over heels a little too quickly. Sure we all get attracted by first impressions and who wouldn't. However, when you start to get know someone, it's different. that's because that were you see the substance behind the image. It gets deeper when you realize that there are a lot of things you have in common and then you start to depend a lot on each other to a point where you want to be together no matter what. Now that for me is real love.

I guess that's why I'm slow when it comes to the heart game. I really want to be sure and I guess that would mean sharing the worst in that person as well the best. Never rushing in does have it's merits. You really can't rush things and that definitely includes love. You do that and you'll just wind up going crazy.

Once You Say The Words, There's No Turning Back: I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do By ABBA

Well, there's little more than a week left and all this romance mush will soon be over. Still, for those who are now in it too deep, there are two choices that they: A. They break it off or B. Head to the alter and seal the deal. Still, even choice B was made, it's not yet binding. It's only when when they magic words that the point of no return has been reach and those words are "I do". That's why ABBA's song "I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do," is a good choice for this post.

Two simple words that carry a really huge weight. It should only be uttered when one has fully made up one's mind as well as his or her heart. When you say these words, it means that you're serious about starting a new life with another person. The fact that you proclaim these words to family, friends and God is proof of your commitment. Even when there's some nervousness, it won't stop you from saying it when the time comes. That's because your heart's made up and nothing needs to discussed.

Sadly, people these days (especially celebrities) takes words for granted. It's really disappointing when you hear that was supposedly a match made in heaven would suddenly split apart. Why that happens, only they know. That's been happening a lot lately and it really spoils the significance of what those words mean. So when you say "I Do" make sure you mean cause once you say it, there's no turning back.

When You Think About What Could Have Been: What Could Have Been: Just Between You And Me By April Wine

For those who lost out on love, that can really take a while to get over. Especially when you felt sure that person was the one. One minute you thought you're on top of the world and all of sudden, you're sent crashing down the hard solid ground. Times like that, a talk with your best bud over a brew sure helps soothe the pain. That's the reason why I chose April Wine's song "Just Between You And Me" for this post.

Well when you're in love with someone, you think that alone is enough and you've sealed the deal. Then things go astray and what started out good has gone bad and you're left wondering where did all go wrong. Then reality dawns in and you have face the facts that it was just not meant to be. Sad as it is, life doesn't always turn out the way you thought it would. You have to accept it no matter how hard it is.

Well, all I can say about that is give yourself some time to get over it. Times like that, it would be great to have your best bud who you can say things you can't to other people (even family). A brew and a few 24K tunes and some good talk may do mend the broken heart and dull the pain. There were good times and you'll always have that. Talking about it with a trusted friend sure helps one get over the hurt over thinking about what could have been and more importantly, look forward to a new start.

The Next Best Love: Two Times My Lovin By The Fabulous Thunderbirds

Let's face it. Not everyone winds up with a fairy tale ending where you live happily ever after. There are a lot bf people out there who got dumped and are now broken hearted. Well for these guys have to take whatever there's left but that isn't a bad thing because something good may come out if they try really hard enough. This is why I'll use the song "Two Times My Lovin" by The Fabulous Thunderbirds for this post.

This song is appropriate for people who think that settling for something else after being dumped by their dream mate is a bad thing. But think about it, at least these people were able to see something in you that the dumper did not. They also appreciate you for who you are when the dumper did not. They won't demand too much since they really dig you for who you are. All you have to do is give them a chance.

Some people still insist on being with those who don't have feelings who don't have feelings for them. These guys are really fools. They may not be the No.1 choice but they're special never the less. Nobody likes shifting to a plan B but sometimes it may be better than your previous choice. You get two times the love even if it is second hand love.

When Love Heals: Little Lovin Keeps The Doctor Away By The Raes

They that when people are down, love does wonders for them. Even for those are really sick or hurt, when you add some love and care, it works wonders. When you know that you are loved, you get that feeling that no matter how hard things are, you can overcome them. This how powerful love can really chase the hurt away. That said, I choose The Rae's song "Little Lovin Keeps The Doctor Away" for this post.

I remember this song during the height of the disco era. People were smiling as they danced to this tune. Though I was never one for dancing, let alone disco, this song sure brought a lot of smiles on people's faces. This is simply because it when love is present all the hurt and worries are banished. Why wouldn't it? It's such an upbeat tune that it really shakes the blues away.

Why do we overcome a lot of obstacles? Why do we keep going even when others say it's hopeless? Simply because we know that someone loves us. No matter how hard things get or how much we hurt, a little love can go a long way. When you feel that love flowing in you, it can work miracles. Just like the song suggest, it can even keep the doctor away.

Within Your Reach But Cannot Touch: So Close By Hall And Oates

Did you ever experienced a time when someone you like was in the place as you. That person is practically right in front of you that you can touch him or her. Yet despite the fact that you are near that person, you feel that there is a great distance between you. It just can't be explained but for some reason no matter how near you are, that person just seems out of reach. That situation reminds me of the song "So Close" by Hall And Oates.

When it comes to people we like, we just melt like putty. For some reason, there's this big barrier that just blocks the way between the two of you. Maybe it's because there are just too many people there and you're embarrassed to express what you feel or you're just insecure to say it. One's things for sure, if you don't do anything, that person might go with someone else. If that happens, you'll be left there looking and feeling like a fool.

At times like that I guess you must never take counsel of you fears. If you do, you will miss a great opportunity. It's already there so don't miss a chance. A lot of people would agree and many of them know what it feels to miss out. Don't be afraid and just do it and win or lose, at least you did it.

Make Sure You're Worthy Of That Chance: Give Me A Chance By Rick Segreto

Well, Valentine's Day is over but if you think that the love season is also gone, you got another thing coming. Since February 14, fell on a week day this year, I won't be surprised if people will be celebrating it on the weekend since they're all bogged down with work. For others, they don't want to give up and that they're all hoping that they get lucky before the month's out. Just make sure that worth it. That said, the song "Give Me A Chance" by Rick Segreto comes to mind.

These days competing to win someone's heart is not easy. These days, there are a lot of temptations out there and you'd be surprise at how far other people are willing to go or give just to win. I've seen the things that give and I'll tell you have to make an impression just to overcome your rivals. You have to show that you've got is better than all the rest. Only then can you really win that person over.

it doesn't stop there though. You have to sustain your momentum if you do win. Sometimes you have to go out of your comfort zone and do a lot of things that you don't normally do. You want to share your life with that person, then you have to worthy of it. Your were given a chance that be worthy of it if you are serious about it.

What It Feels To Be Held: Hold Me By Charlie Sexton

Well, the Day of Hearts has finally arrived. That's because today is Valentine's Day. Even if pay day (which concerns me more) is tomorrow, don't be surprised if a lot of love struck dudes and duddettes with pouring out their sweetest words ( and their cash) on this special day. Sure it's only Tuesday but nothing's going keep these guys from having a romantic time from sunrise to sunset. But to have that special someone wrap his/her arms around is probably one of the best things to happen on this day. That's why I'm going to use Charlie Sexton's song "Hold Me" for this post.

Nothing feels so good on this day than to be held by a significant other. Next to a kiss, you really feel that person's warmth when they hold you in their arms. No words can express the feeling you get when that happens but one thing's for sure and that's the person's way of showing you how much they care about you. It gets better when walking around some scenic route and watching the sun set on the horizon. I may not be a romantic but that would sure warm my heart if someone did that for me.

Well, I wouldn't be surprise if roses and chocolate were spreading all around. Restaurants and hotels (or should I say motels) are probably booked. In short, every romantic will do their best to make it a night to remember.Still when someone special gives you an honest hug, nothing else matters. There's nothing like being held to set a heart on fire

R.I.P. Whitney Houston: Where Do Broken Heats Go By Whitney Houston

As I woke up yesterday and opened up my computer, I was surprised by what I read in the news: Whitney Houston was dead at 48. I couldn't believe what I was reading because a few years ago, She was on the road to a comeback. She had completed rehab after years of drug abuse and her new album was a hit so it's quite a shock when her death was announced. No doubt a lot of friends and fans are heart-broken by news. This is why I think her song "Where Do Broken Hearts Go" is an appropriate for this post.

Back in my high school and college days, every song that she sang was an instant hit. She was always on MTV and hit made her shine even more. On top of that, she also had a budding movie career which made me believe her future was secure. Then she married Bobby Brown and all of a sudden she stopped making songs and movies. That's when her career plummeted to new lows and I remember one last performance where I was shocked that she was sweating buckets and her eyes were dull. I was relieved when I heard that she was restarting her career and I thought she was back on track. Sadly, fate had other plans.

To see such a great diva go that was is indeed tragic. I wish people supported her more when she was trying to get back on her feet again. I thought she would make it but sadly, that was not to be. I hope she's in a better place now and is singing to the Lord God Almighty in Heaven. R.I.P. Whitney, your fans will miss you especially when your songs were always about the heart.

Love Doctor: Calling Dr. Love

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, it's not surprising that a lot of people are trying to find ways to make sure that things go smoothly when the time comes. Even for those who know their significant other, they'll still find ways to surprise them so they'll rack their brains on what to do. At this point, don't be surprise if you suddenly see all these so-called relationship popping up this month. While the iron is hot, they'll be bombarding newspapers, magazines, radio waves, television commercials and even the internet with all sorts of advice. When these guys start coming out on Valentine's Day, the song "Calling Dr. Love" by Kiss comes to mind.

Whether these guys are self-made Casanovas or PhD holders, they'll start coming out of the wood work with all their advice on what to do on this month of hearts. Like Christmas, Valentine's Day comes only once a year, they'll cash in while they still can this month. For those desperate enough for their Valentine's Day to be perfect, they'll probably fall for any suggestions these guys would throw at them. If they're really that desperate, they'll fall for it hook, line and sinker. The question is if it is really suited for the situation.

Well, in the end you have to find out what's best for you and your mate. You know your mate more than anyone else so that is something you can build on. Still you can get something fron these guys, Just make sure that it's suited for the situation at hand. Otherwise you'd be going to these and crying your heart out wondering what went wrong.

When Your Best Is Not Enough: Best Of My Love By The Eagles

One of my earlier blog post dealt with the fact that love is not enough in a relationship. Despite the how genuine your love is, if you can't deliver or make no effort to change then don't be surprise when it starts slipping away. In the end, you're left all alone and wondering what went wrong. What hurts even more was the fact that you gave it your all (or so you say). Sadly, a lot of relationships go down that road. When it falls short despite giving your all, the song "Best Of My Love" by The Eagles comes to mind.

You get together with a special someone, that's only the beginning. It's always great at the start and each of you give assurances to each other that you'll be together no matter what. Then the hard times hit you and disagreements, personal agendas etc., start open cracks in that bond. Deep inside you still love each other but that isn't enough keep things from falling apart. That's when you realize the sad truth that it wasn't meant to be.

It really hurts when something so good suddenly comes undone. You did all that you could but sadly it was inevitable. You know deep inside that this was true. Still it was good while it lasted and those memories can still warm a heart at night. It would remind you of the time when you each gave the best of your love.

What Love Is And Isn't: That Aint Love By REO Speedwagon

A lot of people have their opinion about what love is. Most of the time what one thinks is love may not hold true to other people. I won't claim I'm an expert on the subject but just like everybody else, I had experienced it at one time or another. It's enough for me to know what love is and what it is not. I think REO Speedwagon's song "That Aint Love" fits this post perfectly.

It is not love for me when only one person is reaping the benefits of the relationship. It isn't love when you begin to feel left or have doubts. It is not love when your partner doesn't value your views or opinions. it is not love when your asks for so much conditions before committing. Finally it is not love when your partner does not accept you for who you are and is not willing to change while you've changed so much that you start losing who you really are.

I do know love goes both ways and people both benefit from it. I also know that you accept each other before there's any attempt for change. Most of all, you feel that could face anything because you support each other. These days people are too selfish that's why all this fairy tail crap comes crashing down. You really have to know what love is and what it is not for it to really last long.

Getting Over It: I'll Be Over You By Toto

Anyone who tells that they didn't get hurt over a break up is either stone cold or lying. When something good that you have with someone falls apart is like having someone punch a hole in your chest and your heart gets ripped out and torn to pieces. It gets worse when you worked so hard to keep going. Times like that, you need to take some time to get a hold of yourself and let it pass. The time you need to get over it reminds me of Toto's song "I'll be Over You".

This song came out when of things that I was hoping to see come true fall apart instead. One thing happened after another and before I knew it, what that crowning moment became one bad nightmare. It was like being on top of the world and suddenly falling down and breaking into pieces. You guessed it; I got dumped and boy did that hurt.

I hate to admit but that wasn't the last and there have been several times when I got shot down. Still, time heals all wounds and I got over each and everyone of them. That's life they say and maybe it's a blessing in disguise (a pretty good disguise though). Getting over it is never easy. Still, life goes on so I keep going as soon as get over it.

Letting A Great Find Go: It Would Take A Strong Man By Rick Astley

The hard part about February is that it's all about romance. The good part about it is that a lot of 24K classics deals with that subject. Going back to romance, not everything has a storybook ending where the two live happily ever after. Sometimes, you have to be realistic about the situation and at that point, even it hurts you have to let it go. I guess that's what Rick Astley meant in his song "It Would Take A Strong Man".

I got this idea from an episode of "Who's The Boss" where a Bug Spray man and woman executive were attracted to each other. All of a sudden, the called it off. When asked by their friends why did that it's because they came from different social statuses and eventually that cause conflict between them. Still, there was a connection between but it wouldn't work out in the long run.

What did I learn from this scene? Simply that you have to know if you got what it takes for that person to be your partner. It was sad to end that way but in reality, it was for the best. It takes a strong person to let a good find go. But if you wish that person to be happy it's the right thing to do.

Still Shy After All These Years: He's So Shy By The Pointer Sisters

The only I time that I have ever felt comfortable during social occasions was during the gathering of the circle where I spend time with my buddies and bros. Other than that, I feel really awkward when it comes to other functions. This is especially true when it includes dancing and formal attire. It gets worse when there's no one there that I know and I just got there then I'm force to meet with people who I haven't met. That shy feeling I get reminds of the Pointer Sister's song "He's So Shy".

I was never a sociable person. Just dance parties, I tend to keep my distance during times like this. To honest, I get shy whenever I'm out of my element. It gets worse when I'm force to do things I don't want to do. I just nod my head and smile as the party stretches on. When it's over that's where I breathe a sigh of relief.

I'm already old and I still have that shy old feeling. I'd rather keep to my own people cause that's where I belong. At least I don't get dragged to functions like that anymore. It's not my cup of tea. IU'm just a shy guy.

It Pays To Wait For The Right One: Sad To Belong By England Dan And John Ford Coley

If there's anything that the movie "The Heart Break Kid" taught me is that be very careful about who you give your love to. Some people are easily infatuated that they think its already love. When that person's bad side starts to surface, you realize you'd make a mistake. It gets worse when Mr./Ms. Right comes along which leaves you feeling stuck in a miserable fix. Waiting for the right one reminds me of the song "Sad To Belong" by England Dan And John Ford Coley.

Some people can be so impulsive when it comes to falling for another. This is the reason why you really have to think things through even when it comes to falling in love. There are some cases where people are forced in to it like in an arranged marriage which was never their choice in the first place. For these guys, they have to stand their ground if they really don't want to get into it. They know who they want and should be ready to fight for it.

Sometimes looking for a life time partner is just like shopping. You really should look thoroughly to get that which you really want. So don't rush it. It'll come and after a long while, you'll know it's the one. It won't be perfect at the start cause there will be a few bumps initially. But when you're happy with that person then it's worth the wait or even the search.

Romance Rock Style (With A Samurai Romeo And Juliet): All The King's Horses By The Firm

I remember watching Video Hit Parade back in the Summer of 86. Back
then, good music videos were the rave and music video shows were one
way of finding a good song . There was the usual commercial
mainstream hum-drum and I was about to turn the tube off. Then
something caught my sights as well as my ear. That was the music
video of the song "All The King's Horses" by The Firm.

Like all good songs in my collection, this one caught my ear the first
time I heard it and being a martial arts junkie, the samurai theme was
a real treat. It was all about how strong their love is and even
though the odds are against them because they come from opposing clans
sure goes well with the theme of the song. Even without the video,
this sure was a very powerful song. The fact that it stayed at the
top for so long among listeners in my time was a testament to how good
this song is.

When I graduated from High School, I never this song again. Despite
the fact that it was a great song it faded into obscurity and to make
matters worse I lost the tape of the album which included this song.
Despite that fact, this has always remained in my mind as well as my
heart. For a romantic song, it really packs a punch. That's love
rock style with some samurai element for you.

When It Feels Rightt: Love You Like I Never Loved Before By John O' Bannion

Yesterday, I wrote about what happens when you don't think things through which may cause to look like an idiot who thought that it was love. That doesn't mean that I'm against falling in love. However, when you've the one, you'll know. There will be no hesitations and no doubts when that time. If that time comes, a good song to play is John O' Bannion's "Love You Like I Never Loved Before".

Man, whenever 24K plays this song, it really brightens my day. I bet this song would brighten the day of anyone found his or her soul mate. One is for sure when you find person, nothing else matters for everything that you've been looking for has been found and all questions have been answered. Not everybody is given such a gift. Those who do should never take for granted what they have found and gained.

For those of you who have found it, I'm happy for you guys. May you always be happy with special someone and cherish each other for the rest of your lives. Well, it's another February and a lot of roses and chocolates will passed around in the hopes finding the one. Nobody really knows who that person will be. One thing's for sure, when it feels right and is right, then you found the one.

Times When Love Makes Us Act Like Fools: Foolish Heart By Steve Perry

Yesterday I blogged about the need for balance between the heart and mind when it comes to love. This is because a lot of people get in too deep they don't realize what it is that they're getting into until it's too late. They are so attracted to a person they think that that person is the one and they'll hit off. A lot of times, it's not the case and you're left feeling like a fool who fell overboard over nothing. That's the lesson I learned from Steve Perry's song "Foolish Heart".

When it comes to love, the fool is always the guy who gets dumped. These are the people who just didn't want to face reality that it was never love. Some of them force the issue but it's useless to do because there was never any spark in the first place. They didn't want to accept it and keep clinging to a fantasy that they made up. In the end, they're left alone and yes feeling like a fool.

I'm no expert but I do it takes more than interest for a person to share his or her life with another. That's when the knowing comes into play. You have to know the good and the bad of that person and be ready to accept it. Change will come eventually if your really committed. Well, that's one way to avoid playing the fool and a lot of people often act like fools when it comes to love.

There Needs To Be Balance Between Heart And Mind: When The Heart Rules The Mind By GTR

A lot of people always insist that when you fall in love, the only thing that matters is the heart. People who think are often labeled as the bad guy when it comes to romance. I beg to disagree with that notion. If that was the case, then we wouldn't have to think things through. That's the idea I get when I hear the song "When The Heart Rules The Mind" by GTR.

The reason why I say this is that lately, I've been a big believer in balance. I think that the mind has a say when one starts to fall. Even when emotions can sense that something is not right, it's the mind that tells you what it is and even deeper, why. To sum it up, these two aren't at odds with each other, rather they help each other when you need to sort things out.

I guess Elvis was right about fools rushing in. It's not really hesitation but rather making sure that everything is all right. Love can make fools out of us which why our minds are there to prevent that from happening. That's why we have both to make sure we make the right choice and do the right thing. When one rules over the other, that's when the crap hits the fan, so makes you balance things with your and mind.

t's Not That Easy: Surrender Your Heart By Missing Persons

Well, it's February and that means it's the month of hearts which culminate into Valentine's Day. Yes that day where our minds are rendered numb and our emotions rule our judgments. For a lot of people, this is the month where they wear their hearts on their sleeves in the hope that they can surrender it to the one. For me, however, it's not that easy which is why I'm not very fond of this day. Before I go further, I think I'll use Missing Persons' song "Surrender Your Heart" for this entry.

Yes this is the month of love but the question does anyone really know what love is anymore? You read the newspaper and watch the gossip shows about fairy tail romances that suddenly go bust. It seems for a lot people, it's not about for better or worse but rather until the good times last. How could you surrender your heart to such shallow people? I'm too old school which is why I'm not so keen about about loosing myself so carelessly.

These days you really have to be careful who give it to. I'm not saying I'm afraid to love but there's a reason why we have brain because it helps you from making a very huge mistake when your emotions get the better of you. Still that doesn't mean I've given up on love because I still believe in it. It's just a matter of really being sure and having no doubts after weighing everything. Only then will there be a chance of me surrendering my heart.
