Need For Self-Reflection: Look At Yourself By Uriah Heep

Ever had those times when you feel that there's something missing inside you.  You do what you can to keep up with everything and everyone but something's not right. As a result, you feel that there is a need to find out what it is.  It's in times like that that you need to take a good look at yourself.  That need for self-reflection reminds me of the song "Look At Yourself" by Uriah Heep.

They say that a person who always overcomes adversity is the person who knows himself inside out.  Assessing what he can and can't do.  If there is something that he can do in a situation that would help then do so. If he feels that there is something he needs to fix about himself, doing this will help.  All in all, it's about being honest with yourself.  That's important because only knowing yourself can you really go farther and farther towards achieving your goals.

Sometimes we get stubborn or deny that we have a problem and that's where things really go wrong.  You'll never be able to fix what's wrong with you if you don't admit it.  Admitting  that something is wrong with you is not a show of weakness but rather strength for only strong people will admit that they need to fix something within them.,  That's why there's a need for self-reflection.  It helps you stay the path and more importantly reminds you of who you are.
